• Additional information or comments: A postdoctoral position is immediately available at Washington State University in general area of catalytic conversion of biomass. The successful candidate will work on fundamental understanding and development of catalytic processes involved in aqueous phase conversion of biomass feedstocks. Requirement: 1) PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; 2) experience with evaluation and advanced characterization of heterogeneous catalysts. Experience with both experimental and theoretic studies of catalysts is preferred. Initial appointment is for one year; second year contingent upon funding.
