Penn State’s Nuclear Engineering Program is nationally ranked at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with rising enrollments and strong ties to national laboratories and the nuclear industry. Faculty members maintain strong externally funded research programs with many opportunities for collaboration. The University has excellent computing and experimental facilities, including the 1 MW Breazeale Nuclear Reactor at the Radiation Science and Engineering Center and the Institute for CyberScience.
