NOTES:
Job Summary/Basic Function:
-Carry out a cutting edge, externally-funded research program in plant ecology with a preference for research related to global environmental change and bryology
-Develop collaborative funding proposals with members of the Program team and other internal (UNT) and external affiliated colleagues and institutions
-Mentoring and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels
-Provide leadership and service to the program, department, college and university
Minimum Qualifications:
-Ph.D. in ecology or a related discipline
-Track record of high quality scholarship and research funding in global environmental change and its effects on plant ecology
-Proven experience in successfully engaging with undergraduate and/or graduate students as shown by publication, funding and/or award track record of students
Preferred Qualifications:
-Ph.D. in ecology or a related discipline
