Computer Engineering Faculty Position

The Milwaukee School of Engineering invites applications at all ranks for a full-time faculty position in Computer Engineering beginning in the fall of 2013.  Rank will depend on qualifications and experience of the candidate.
Candidates must have a doctorate degree in computer or electrical engineering by the beginning date of appointment. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. A BS in Computer and/or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is preferred. Industrial experience is preferred. Candidates must be qualified to instruct undergraduate integrated lecture/lab courses in the topic areas of embedded systems, digital systems, and computer networking.
Applicants must be versatile and have interest in teaching a broad range of undergraduate computer engineering courses. The applicant will be expected to remain up to date in new developments in related technical and pedagogic fields and integrate those into the department curriculum, lecture and laboratory. Qualified candidates must actively continue their professional development.
The MSOE Computer Engineering program is an ABET-accredited undergraduate program with over 125 undergraduate students. The successful candidate must have a strong primary commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.  Leadership in the growth of undergraduate engineering education is expected.  MSOE enjoys close working relationships with regional Midwestern companies and faculty interaction with these companies is especially encouraged.
