The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seattle University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer position to begin in September 2016. The appointment will be for one academic year. Primary teaching responsibilities will include a variety of undergraduate computer engineering courses such as Programmable Devices, Microprocessors, DSP Laboratory, and MATLAB. Teaching responsibilities will also include advising a three-quarter long, industrially sponsored senior design project.

Requirements: Ph.D. in computer or electrical engineering or closely related field.

The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabanci University invites applications for a full-time faculty position at all-ranks in the area of Advanced Manufacturing for Fall 2016. The candidates must have earned a doctorate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate an excellence in research, teaching and graduate/undergraduate student supervision.  Candidates with interdisciplinary research interests in across all areas of advanced manufacturing and materials processing especially in additive manufacturing, micro-nano, high performance/precision manufacturing, hybrid manufacturing, metrology and non-traditional processes are particularly encouraged to apply. 

The Sabanci University expanding its research in the area of Advanced Manufacturing and Composite Processing Technologies. A new Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research Center (IMC) is currently being established and expected to be operative by the end of Summer 2016.  industrial-scale research and technology development facility and to be operative in June 2016. The IMC provides facilities for component design, manufacture, assembly, product development, process prototyping, fundamental and applied research, incubation services and commercialization opportunities in integrated manufacturing and composite materials technologies. The successful candidate will also be affiliated with the IMC.
