Educator/Lecturer in Bioengineering
Wichita
State University’s College of Engineering is seeking an Engineering
Educator/Lecturer with expertise in Bioengineering Design, to start August
2013. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate bioengineering
courses based on background and expertise, work with Bioengineering faculty to
develop laboratory and design activities in bioengineering courses, develop and
teach the senior year bioengineering practicum and capstone design courses,
identify capstone design sponsors and projects, and serve as a liaison between
industry and the Bioengineering program. Minimum qualifications include a
Master’s degree in engineering, industry, business or engineering design
experience, preferably in the bioengineering/biomedical engineering or health
care industry. Preferred qualifications include a PhD in engineering,
prior university-level teaching or student mentorship, experience related to
capstone design, and experience with medical device design and development.
