The College of Technology & Innovation at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applicants for a Lecturer (non-tenure track) position in the Engineering and/or Engineering Technology programs. We are seeking dynamic individuals eager to advance our strongly trans-disciplinary environment for learning and discovery. Depending on education, background, and experience the candidate may be appointed in a non-tenured
position as lecturer, clinical faculty, or professor of practice.

Essential Functions: Candidate would be responsible for a) designing and delivering courses related to robotics, mechatronics, and/or the use of microprocessors, microcontrollers and sensors to accomplish electronic integration and control of a wide variety of engineering systems, b) supervising student projects, c) mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and d) involvement in service to the department. Candidates should possess a strong professional background, with some demonstrated experience related to teaching, training, offering professional development, or curriculum design across a wide spectrum of engineering technologies. Candidates should have proven success in developing courses and/or establishing relationships with students and industry.

Requirements: A Ph.D. is preferred, but all applicants must have a minimum of a Masters degree in engineering, engineering technology, computing, or related field.

We seek candidates who will contribute to the on-going development of CTI into a premier program in a public setting. The best applicants will engage in scholarship in teaching, and excel in a hands-on, project-based curriculum using modern, empirically vetted pedagogical practice.
