The MIT Sloan School of Management invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Operations Research and Statistics beginning July 1, 2012 or as soon thereafter as possible. Strong applicants will demonstrate the potential for research; duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in the area of Operations Research and Statistics. We are especially interested in candidates who can build a strong methodological research base, contribute to application areas of high impact, and be successful teachers for the undergraduate, MBA, and PhD programs.

Applicants should possess or be close to the completion of a PhD in a relevant field by the date of appointment. We especially want to identify qualified female and minority candidates for consideration in this position. Applicants need to submit 1) an up-to-date curriculum vitae, 2) relevant information about teaching as well as research experience and performance, and 3) three letters of recommendation by November 1, 2011.
