Paul Jacob Endowed Chair in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Mississippi State University invites applications for the Paul Jacob Endowed Chair in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The chair must have a distinguished professional record in research and development and established and sustainable extramural funding commensurate with appointment at the rank of Full Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to serve as a role model and mentor to junior faculty, develop strong externally funded research programs, and have a passion for educating the engineers of tomorrow.

Mississippi State University is a comprehensive land-grant institution with over 20,000 students and awards more than 3,000 degrees each year. The National Science Foundation currently ranks the department as 32nd among the more than 300 U.S. ECE departments in external research expenditures. The university is located in Starkville, a vibrant community located in northeast Mississippi.
