OIL & GAS FACULTY POSITION IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING:
The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track assistant professor position in the broad research area of oil & gas exploration, production, or processing, as well as corrosion and
materials to be filled by August 2016.

The successful candidates are expected to build successful, externally-funded research programs and to develop and teach innovative courses, supervise graduate students, obtain funding for their research programs, and communicate their research results in quality journals and at conferences. The ability to work collaboratively in research and teaching with other departments within the College of Engineering is highly desirable. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or in a related engineering field by the time of employment. The successful candidates are also expected to support the new Oil & Gas certificate program already established at UTSA.
