Applications are being accepted for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering, although exceptional candidates will be considered at any level. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in the water-energy nexus, sustainability, water chemistry processes, environmental fluid mechanics, or watershed biogeochemistry. Excellent opportunities are available for interdisciplinary collaboration to expand on existing strengths in materials, energy, and the environment, supported through the Penn State Institutes of Energy and Environment (www.environment.psu.edu). The successful applicant will develop a research program leading to national and international recognition, and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
