Wright State University-Lake Campus is seeking applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of applied mathematics starting Fall, 2011. Requirements include a Ph.D. in mathematics with a focus on applied mathematics or equivalent degree (anticipated at the time of appointment); strong commitment to quality teaching and a potential for scholarship. Preferred requirements include successful teaching experience at the university level, successful scholarship record. The Lake Campus is located on the north shore of Grand Lake St. Marys in a beautiful agricultural setting. The Lake Campus is a commuter campus with over 1,400 students pursuing associate, pre-baccalaureate, two-year technical, and a limited number of baccalaureate and graduate degrees.
