Job Description:
The University of Texas at Austin Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in construction engineering/project management with a focus on sustainable or energy projects. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop a sponsored research program, supervise graduate students, collaborate with other faculty, and be involved in service to the university and the profession. The department seeks a person with expertise related to (1) societal and economic impacts of sustainable capital projects and technologies or (2) sustainable policies, planning, or technologies for capital projects.

Applicants must have an earned Ph. D. degree in engineering or equivalent. Applications from women and minorities are encouraged.
