The Goizueta Business School of Emory University
invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position
in the Information Systems and Operations Management area beginning Fall
2014. This faculty position focuses on teaching six courses per year
in Statistics and Data and Decision Analytics so strong teaching skills
are required. Additional job responsibilities include student advising
and mentoring. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of
experience teaching in a leading business school. A Ph.D. in Statistics
or related quantitative field is required. Candidate must provide
evidence of outstanding teaching.
In the interest of flexibility, our search is
targeting candidates who have the capacity to effectively teach the
following coursework, and have a documented track record of doing so:
- Decision Analysis/Business Statistics Core (Undergraduate or MBA)
Additional preference given to candidates with backgrounds in teaching the following:
- Operations Management and Information Systems Core (Undergraduate or MBA)
- Electives in Business Data Acquisition and Mining, Social Media Data Analytics, Web Programming (web/APIs/Java/Python etc.), Advanced Statistical Modeling/Programming (SAS/R etc.), Project Management, Risk Modeling
The Information Systems & Operations Management
(ISOM) area within Goizueta Business School is composed of operations
management, information systems, and decision analysis/statistics

Salary is commensurate with experience. Multiple
