The Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering currently invites applications for an academic tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the area of Sustainable Energy.
The successful candidate should have a thermal-fluid background. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in engineering (or related discipline), an outstanding academic and research record including refereed publications, and effective teaching ability. The candidate should have an undergraduate degree in engineering and be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer. Preferred candidates will be expected to develop a strong and independent research program to support the Department’s strategic focus area of sustainable energy systems.
• Duties will include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research and departmental service.
• Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
• Start date is approximately July 1, 2011.
