Faculty Position: Rutgers Business School—Newark and New Brunswick
The Department of Management Science and Information Systems of Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank to start in September 2012. The department has undergraduate programs in Management Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics and Information Technology, contributes to the MBA program, and also coordinates the tracks in Management Science and Information Systems of the doctoral program. The Rutgers Business School is accredited, and is a part of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, which is a vibrant public research university. The Rutgers Business School is located in two campuses: Newark and New Brunswick.
This position is focused in the area of stochastic models and the candidate must show evidence of research and teaching interest in this area. Candidates are required to have a PhD in operations research, management science, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Candidates must have expertise or evident potential in providing quality teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Further, candidates should show evidence of, or potential for, publishing in premier journals, such as Management Science, Operations Research, Mathematics of Operations Research, and active involvement in research targeted to these or other publications of comparable caliber.

Priority deadline for applications is October 28, 2011, but we will continue accepting applications until a successful candidate is found. Applicants are requested to specify whether or not they will be attending the INFORMS Conference November 13-16 in Charlotte, NC.
