The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering at Mississippi State University invites applications for up to four tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, with the appointments to begin August 16, 2014. Applicants must have a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Candidates at the Full Professor level will be eligible for the Southern Ionics Chair. The successful candidate will develop an externally funded research program and demonstrate excellence in teaching. The School is especially interested in candidates with interest in MSU’s core research areas of computational methods, advanced materials, and energy. The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering is housed in a state-of-the-art building dedicated to Chemical Engineering.  The School currently enrolls over 350 undergraduate and graduate students and annually conducts over $4M in externally funded research.  Mississippi State University is located in Starkville, Mississippi, a vibrant college town located in Northeast Mississippi.  More information about the Dave C.
