The University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee
The Department of Physics at the University of Wisconsin
- Milwaukee (UWM) seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Assistant
Professor (tenure track), or Associate Professor (tenured) in theoretical
biophysics, starting August 2014. The
successful candidate is expected to establish an active research program,

"Biology with X-ray Lasers."
The Center is focused on the structure and dynamics of biological soft
matter. In addition to start-up support, UWM provides substantial funding
opportunities through the Research Growth Initiative.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics or a closely
related field with postdoctoral experience. A demonstrated track record of
innovation and excellence in developing advanced methods for analysis of X-ray
scattering or cryogenic electron microscopy data is required. Experience with both data types, and
familiarity with cluster computing would be advantageous.
Candidates seeking consideration must apply at <http://jobs.uwm.edu/postings/16149>
