INSTITUTION: LeTourneau University DEPARTMENT: School of Engineering and Engineering Technology POSITION: full-time, tenure-track or tenured position NOTES: SCHEDULE: The position is a full-time, tenure track or tenured position with teaching during the fall and spring semesters, with the possibility of summer school teaching. Classes and other responsibilities are conducted primarily weekdays, but will include some evening classes and independent studies. Attendance will also be required at some evening and weekend events. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, development of significant scholarly endeavors, innovative curriculum development, advising students, and serving on university committees. QUALIFICATIONS: LeTourneau University seeks a person with an enthusiastic and contagious Christian faith who is committed to teaching at a small, dynamic Christian university where the integration of faith and academic excellence is paramount. Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and must demonstrate excellent teaching skills as well as the potential to develop significant scholarly research.
