The Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at North Carolina
State University
(NC State) is seeking qualified applicants for full-time,
tenure-track faculty position with a concentration in health systems
engineering. Relevant disciplines include industrial
and systems engineering, operations research, and related fields as
applied to medical decision making and health care systems engineering.
Applicants with strong methodological research interests are
particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate
will be expected to do innovative research in medical decision making
and health systems engineering and to pursue relevant research funding.
In addition, the candidate is expected to be active in the department's
PhD program, and to teach at the graduate
and undergraduate levels.
The position is a tenure-track
faculty position at the Assistant/Associate level. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to work in an
established health systems engineering group and to be in a highly
ranked department of industrial and systems engineering. We do
