Primary Responsibilities 

Teach face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate-level courses in quantitative methods including business statistics, management science, operations management, and supply chain management.  Successful candidate will also conduct research leading to refereed publications in national journals, advise undergraduate students and participate in department, college, university and professional service.

Required Qualifications

·         Ph.D./DBA in quantitative methods/decision sciences/operations research/production operations management/engineering management/supply chain management or related field. ABD candidates will be considered. (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government certified university)
·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·         Demonstrated potential for high-quality, effective teaching and quality scholarly work
·         Proven commitment to the teacher/scholar model and to public and university service
  • Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the University community
·         Demonstrated commitment to working with multi-cultural populations and awareness of issues affecting women and minorities

Departmental Information: The Harrison College of Business is AACSB accredited with approximately 1400 business majors in the College.  The Department of Accounting has 16 full-time faculty members encompassing four disciplines: Accounting, Business Law, MIS, and Quantitative Methods. In addition to offering a major in Accounting and minors in Accounting, Business Law and Supply Chain Management, the department provides support courses for the College. The department also supports the MBA program in the Harrison College of Business.
