The Department of Computer Science at the University of Dayton invites applications for the position of Department Chair starting July 1, 2013. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an academic record of achievement in teaching and scholarship appropriate for appointment with tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to oversee curriculum development and innovation, communicate clearly and lead collaboratively, and have administrative experience at the department level. Preference will be given to those with experience in program assessment and accreditation and experience developing and/or teaching courses that cross department and unit boundaries.
