Open Tenure-Track Faculty Position
The Department invites applications a for full-time, tenure-track position (No. 00004224) beginning August 2013. Outstanding applicants at assistant and associate levels will be considered. We welcome applications from individuals with strong backgrounds that hold a doctorate in any ISE-relevant discipline, including industrial engineering, operations research, or a closely related field. It is desirable that the applicant would have at least one degree in engineering.
Faculty members are expected to contribute to research and educational programs at all levels, including directing an interdisciplinary research program, supervising graduate students, and teaching courses. Research areas of particular emphasis include stochastic modeling and applied probability with applications in Healthcare Systems, Energy Systems, Security, Infrastructure Systems and Computational Science.
