The Department of Chemical &
Biomedical Engineering invites applications and nominations for Assistant,
Associate or Full Professor tenure-track faculty positions (open rank search)
in the areas of biomedical engineering and sustainable energy starting August
2015. Research areas synergistic to our current faculty interests are
preferred, which include neuroscience and engineering, photonics, biosensors,
solar energy and energy conversion catalysis. The new faculty members
must have an earned Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a

ChBME faculty work collaboratively with members of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer
Center and Research Institute, Center for Assistive Rehabilitation Robotics
& Technologies, Center for Wireless and Microwave Information

Job Summary
The Zachry Department of Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level with expertise in transportation engineering with a focus on autonomous vehicles. This could include planning or design for autonomous vehicles, operational aspects of autonomous vehicles, the impact of autonomous vehicles, to name a few. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute’s many initiatives in this area and the Dwight Look College of Engineering’s Center for Autonomous Vehicles and Sensor Systems (CANVASS) Center. Qualifications
- Ph.D. or clinical doctorate (M.D., D.N.P., D.D.S. or Pharm.D.), a doctorate in clinical or related Informatics, Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications or other Social Sciences, or related fields. Applicants must have completed their degree by the date of appointment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a record of outstanding research productivity and impact. The ability to secure external funding will be considered a strong competitive advantage and critical factor in the assessment of the candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit effective teaching and to creatively adapt and diversify pedagogy for online or blended learning.
