The University of South Florida (USF) Electrical Engineering Department invites candidates of significant professional distinction to apply for a tenure-track/tenured position at all levels, scheduled to start in August 2015. Specific areas of interest are, but not limited to, embedded systems, computer and hardware security; Internet of Things; neuro technologies and biomedical signals, in vivo and on-body sensor systems; renewable energy and power technologies; CAD, material and device-design for digital manufacturing.

Assistant Professor applications are preferred; however, senior candidates with outstanding record are also encouraged to apply. A doctoral degree in electrical engineering or related field is required. Successful candidates will be expected to establish a strong externally and competitively funded interdisciplinary research program and show commitment to undergraduate and graduate education, mentoring and advising.

The Department of Electrical Engineering has thirty faculty members with outstanding research portfolios and international recognition that includes NSF CAREER Award winners, Fellows of the IEEE and AAAS, Distinguished University Professors, and a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
