Applications are invited for tenure-track faculty positions in the
programs of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering in the College of
Engineering and Science (COES) for the 2014-15 academic year for highly
qualified research faculty.
Ph.D. degree in the corresponding area of Computer
Science or Electrical Engineering is required. Excellent written and oral
communication skills, strong teaching skills, proven research track record and
a commitment to high quality student success are also expected. Successful
candidate will be expected to perform world-class research, collaborate with
other faculty, obtain external funding to support research, advise graduate and
undergraduate students for research teach effectively at the undergraduate and
graduate levels. Areas of interest in Computer Science include cybersecurity,
security of critical infrastructure, mobile and network security, digital
forensics, and software engineering. Areas of interest in Electrical
Engineering include computer and data communication, wireless communication,
power/energy systems, computer engineering, and sensor networks. Other areas
will also be considered.
Louisiana Tech University has been ranked in the top tier

years. COES currently enrolls over 2,000 students, including 200+ masters and 150+ doctoral
students. Annual research expenditures of the College have averaged $16M over the
