The Department of Chemical Engineering at Michigan Technological
University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position
at the level of Assistant Professor starting Spring 2015. While all research
areas of chemical engineering will be considered, priority will be given
to candidates with research interests in mineral processing and extractive
metallurgy. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Applicants must have a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related
discipline. Candidates will be expected to establish a strong extramurally
funded research program, demonstrate commitment to excellence in both
undergraduate and graduate education, and complement MTU’s existing
strengths. Applicants with significant industrial experience are encouraged
to apply. A single PDF file containing a letter of application, a curriculum
vitae, statements of research plans and teaching interests, and the names
