The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for multiple tenure or tenure track faculty positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor level with expertise in Robotics, Mechanobiology, Energy (particularly on energy policy and systems, combustion and fuels, and renewable and alternative energy), and Advanced manufacturing; candidates in other mechanical engineering areas may also be considered.  Candidates with research interests cutting across multiple disciplines are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful applicants will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, develop an independent, externally funded research program, advise graduate students, participate in all aspects of the department’s mission, and serve the profession.   Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Applicants must have an earned doctorate in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering or science discipline.
