The Department of
Physics at Syracuse University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty
position in Experimental High Energy Physics. The successful candidate will
work with the existing group on the LHCb experiment. Current activities include
construction of a silicon-based tracking system, the UT, for the LHCb Upgrade,
data analysis, and support for operations.
Applicants should have a
clear record of research accomplishments and a strong interest and
ability to teach effectively at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. In
exceptional cases appointment to a higher rank may be considered.
