The
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of
Rochester

invites applications for two tenuretrack
faculty
positions.
Candidates
from all areas of electrical and computer engineering are encouraged to
apply
and will receive full consideration. We are particularly interested in
candidates
that: a) can impact the broad areas of signal and image processing,
control,
and information theory, b) conducting novel research in the analysis of
complex
data, distributed systems and networks, or c) have research interests in
audio
and music signal processing that can support teaching in our new
undergraduate
major in Audio and Music Engineering.
We
anticipate making both appointments at the Assistant Professor level but
appointments
at any rank will be considered. The University of Rochester offers competitive salaries and excellent start‐up

centers
