The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering & Technology at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates with specialties in manufacturing systems, materials, or processes, including, but not limited to, material (plastics & polymer) processing, product design, industrial automation, rapid prototyping & tooling, CAD/CAM, and numerical simulation in manufacturing processes are encouraged to apply. Additional desirable skills include the ability to teach introductory drawing and computer skills.
The ideal candidate must have a terminal degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering or a closely related field; should have an undergraduate degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering, or a closely related area; and the ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels. A record of accomplishment indicative of the ability to develop and sustain an externally-funded research program would be considered.

Applicants should provide a short statement detailing their philosophy and ambitions for teaching and research in a primarily undergraduate institution, complete curriculum vita, and a list of three references (with full contact information) who may be contacted during any stage of the search.
