Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Faculty Position
The Harold and Inge Marcus Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or closely related discipline (or near completion of their doctoral studies) with a demonstrated research potential. They must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, establish and lead an innovative research program, supervise graduate students, pursue external funding opportunities, and provide service to the University. The Department is ranked 4th by US News & World Report for both its graduate and undergraduate programs.
The start date for the position is Fall 2012. Interested applicants should submit Curriculum Vitae, research statement, teaching statement, and at least three references.
