The Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for multiple tenure-track/tenured faculty positions in the areas of, but not limited to, structures and materials, and remote sensing. Promising candidates in the areas of structures and materials integrate modeling, fabrication, and characterization of structural and/or multi-functional materials for the design of innovative aerospace systems. Desirable remote sensing candidates bridge science and engineering with interest in aerospace related systems and platforms.

The Department’s vision of successful candidates includes their potential for developing innovative and inspiring teaching and research programs that address relevant technical challenges, contribute to academia and the aerospace industry, and support diverse communities. These positions are targeted at the assistant professor level; other levels will be considered for experienced candidates with outstanding credentials. A Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field is required.
