Engineering Faculty Positions at Louisiana Tech University
Louisiana Tech University invites applications for multiple tenure-track positions in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in design, manufacturing, measurement, or control systems. Candidates must hold a doctorate or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrate high-quality teaching and research potential. Candidates at the assistant, associate and full professor level will be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, develop an effective program of externally funded research, advise M.S. and Ph.D. students, and engage in university, professional and program service activities. Research activity is leveraged through one of the College’s multidisciplinary centers of excellence in micromanufacturing, biotechnology and nanotechnology, engineering education, and trenchless technology.
