Facility Management and Mechanical Engineering Technology Programs


Missouri State University seeks a tenure track faculty member for their Department of Technology and Construction Management to teach in the Facility Management and/or Mechanical Engineering Technology programs. This 9-month position is available at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank.

Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate and a degree in one or more of the following: Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Facility Management, Facility Space Programming, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or related field. Evidence of strong communication skills and a commitment to scholarly activity is required. Successful candidates must be committed to working with diverse student and community populations. Rank commensurate with education and experience.

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in one or more of the following areas: industrial operations, facility management, project management, building control systems, systems automation and integration, design, facility planning/human factors, basic engineering, or a related area.
