UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE

The Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Louisville is seeking to fill at least one tenure-track faculty position at the associate professor rank. Applications will be accepted from individuals who specialize either in advanced manufacturing systems, or in logistics and distribution. Responsibilities associated with this position(s) include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising the research of graduate students at the masters and doctoral levels, conducting independent scholarly research, working in teams of research faculty in the areas, publishing in peer reviewed journals, and acquiring external funding to support the research effort.

A Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field, is required for the position. Preference will be given to experienced individuals who have either earned, or can provide clear evidence that they will earn, promotion and tenure at a research institution. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The anticipated starting date is July 1, 2015.
