The Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) in the College of Engineering at Iowa State University invites applications for a part- to full-time Lecturer. A part-time Lecturer will teach Human Computer Interaction (HCI) graduate courses. A full-time lecturer will be expected to teach Industrial Engineering (IE) undergraduate courses and HCI graduate courses. The instructor will be using traditional classroom teaching and distance education delivery methods. The instructor will participate in curriculum improvement efforts.

Required Education and Experience
- For a part-time Lecturer, at least one degree in engineering and a Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or a closely related field.
- For the full-time Lecturer, an M.S. or Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (IE) or closely related field and a Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or closely related field.

Additional Information
Departmental need is for teaching HCI graduate courses (1/2 time); the appointment would be offered as full-time for a successful candidate who is qualified to teach HCI graduate and IE undergrad courses.
