The Department of Engineering Management & Systems at the University of Dayton invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the associate or full professor level. Responsibilities include developing and teaching graduate courses, offered both on campus and online; conducting research and scholarly activities in support of the Department’s mission; and leading and participating in service activities that support the Department, School, University, and society.

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or a related discipline and demonstrate strong written communication skills. Candidates are expected to have a record of accomplishment that demonstrates teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate levels in courses similar to those within the Master of Science in Engineering Management degree program; an active program of research and scholarship; and service to students, colleagues, or profession commensurate with appointment at either the associate or full professor level. Individuals with teaching, research, or design and development experience in the management of engineering systems are particularly encouraged to apply.
