Head of the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering (MNE)
College of Engineering at Kansas State University invites applications of the position of Department Head of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering. The College seeks an individual who will provide innovative and energetic leadership needed to strengthen successful instructional, research, and outreach programs in the department (see http:www.mne.ksu.edu). Candidate must have earned a doctoral degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering or a closely related field of engineering. The candidate must have a strong record of scholarly and/or professional accomplishments, and possess leadership qualities, administrative, personnel management, budgeting, and communication skills. The successful candidate must be eligible for the rank of Professor. The successful candidate will be appointed to the Theede Chair in Mechanical Engineering.
Screening of applications will commence on December 9th, 2013 and continue until the position is filled.
