of Department of Civil Engineering, Kansas State University
The
College of Engineering at Kansas State University (K-State) invites nominations
and applications for the position of Head of the Department of Civil
Engineering. The College seeks an individual with the innovative leadership
skills needed to strengthen successful instructional, research, and outreach
programs in the department. The new head will lead the department as it
increases the number of graduating students, expands its facilities, and hires
new faculty. The successful candidate will have credentials of the highest
quality including a strong record of scholarly and professional
accomplishments, a distinguished scholarly reputation in the engineering
community, and excellent interpersonal skills. An earned doctorate in Civil
Engineering or a closely related field is required.
